Caramel Cream Cheese Apple Dip

Caramel and apples… a match made in heaven for sure! This easy and delicious dip takes the flavors of a caramel apple, adds the creamy richness of cheesecake, and the sweet crunch of toffee, and you have about the most delicious dessert you can make in 5 minutes!
I first tasted this incredible combo at a friend’s house (hi Heather!) several years ago. She shared the amazingly simple recipe and I have been impressing family and friends with it ever since!
Caramel Cream Cheese Apple Dip
This sweet and creamy dip is so easy to make and is always a hit!
Ingredients:
1-8oz. block cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3- Heath or Skor candy bars, crushed
Caramel sauce (homemade or storebought)
3-4 tart apples, such as Granny Smith
Directions:
Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add powdered sugar, and beat to combine.
Add milk and vanilla and beat until fully incorporated and smooth.
Spread cream cheese mixture into a shallow bowl.
Add a layer of caramel sauce (2-4 tablespoons).
Top with crushed toffee bars.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
When ready to serve, slice apples and arrange around dip.

To help slow the browning of the apple slices, immediately after cutting, add slices to a bowl of cool water with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Remove slices from lemon water (allow excess water to drain off) and serve.

As soon as I took these photos, I shared this plate with my girls as an afternoon treat. It was devoured in no time! I have yet to come across anyone who does not LOVE this dip!
Happy snacking!

What a gorgeous photo and what a delightful Fall dip!
This looks BEYOND amazing!!!
What a delicious dip – I’ve had it before but never with the toffee on top. Delicious!
It’s a pity I don’t have cream cheese at home right now. It really is one of those recipes you read about and immediately want to try yourself.
Oh, delicious! I’ll have to try that out on the kids. Fingers crossed they hate it and I’m forced to eat it all myself!
I think I would leave out the apples and just eat the dip. What a wonderful mixture.
This looks amazing! I just found your site and I am in love with your work =)
Looks yummy, I will have to try it very soon.
I could eat that all day long!!! WOW
This could actually get me to eat a piece of fruit!
Great recipe – made this this afternoon for a crafting party I attended and everyone loved it! The hostess’s husband actaully licked the plate when she was giving it back to me to take home. Thanks for sharing! Nutty guy – but I think he just did what the rest of us women wanted to do!
oh my dear heavens. this sounds amazing.
I made this yesterday for an impromptu dinner with our neighbors. It looked amazing and tasted even better! I used chopped up Snickers instead of the Heath Bar for a fun twist. It reminded me of a peanut carmel apple! YUM!
Now this is one way to get kids to eat fruit – looks delicious & fun for Fall!
Can just imagine the combined flavors and textures of this! Glorious indeed.
This looks SO good! I’m gonna make this for our Bunco party! But I’m thinking of using Snickers or maybe even some Reese’s!
This looks good and its creative.
this is AMAZING!!!!!! thank you for sharing
Bringing this to a party tonight! It turned out amazing! We can’t wait to eat it. DELICIOUS!
Can you make this the day before? And refrigerate?

Mostly yes…. the toffee would likely loose it’s crunch in the fridge, so you could add that before serving. Although the whole thing takes only a few minutes to prepare, so I’m not sure there is a big need to make it a day ahead.
