Peanut Butter Balls

These Peanut Butter Balls are a holiday classic with just four ingredients! Quick and easy to make, this simple peanut butter ball recipe is perfect for adding to cookie trays, dessert tables or giving as gifts. Drizzle with extra chocolate or add your favorite toppings like colorful Christmas sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or chopped nuts for a festive treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces melting chocolate

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl combine peanut butter, butter and powdered sugar. Stir or beat together until combined and the powdered sugar is blended in. Consistency should be smooth and creamy.
  • Use a 1 ½ inch portion size scoop, to scoop and roll into balls. Set onto parchment paper, then chill for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator until firm.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30 second increments until smooth and creamy. Stirring each time so that you do not burn the chocolate.
  • Remove balls from the refrigerator. Using a fork, dip into the chocolate until fully coated. Return to parchment paper and repeat until all balls have been dipped in the chocolate. Allow chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

Storage Information
You can store leftover Peanut Butter Balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
They also freeze well! Store in a freezer safe container for up to 3 months. Place wax paper in between each layer before freezing so they don’t stick together. Thaw and serve.
