Salted Vanilla Bean Caramels with Pecans
Rich and buttery caramels are elevated with sea salt and pecans. A perfect holiday treat!
Combine the cream, sugar, butter and corn syrup.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring regularly.
Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Cooking for 10 minutes
Cooking for 30 minutes
Cooking for 1 hour
While cooking the caramel, prepare a jelly roll pan. Chop and toast pecans. Set aside.
Once caramel is cooked, remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Pour mixture in the pan.
Top the warm caramel with sea salt and toasted pecans.
Cool and cut into squares. Wrap individually.
