A classic fall favorite!
A healthy, simple and delicious treat!
Combine sugar, cinnamon, nuts and raisins. Stir.
Prepare apples by washing well and cutting out just the core.
Stuff each apple with sugar mixture, pressing as much into the cavity as you are able.
Press a piece of
butter onto the top of
each filled apple.
Pour hot boiling water into the baking dish, pouring around but not directly on top of the apples.
Bake until apples are tender.
Allow to cool slightly.
