Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese 1 block, room temperature
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 candy bars Heath or Skor, crushed
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce homemade or storebought
  • 3-4 tart apples such as Granny Smith

Instructions

  • Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar, and beat to combine.
  • Add milk and vanilla and beat until fully incorporated and smooth.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture into a shallow bowl.
  • Add a layer of caramel sauce (2-4 tablespoons).
  • Top with crushed toffee bars.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • When ready to serve, slice apples and arrange around dip.

Notes

To help slow the browning of the apple slices, immediately after cutting, add slices to a bowl of cool water with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Remove slices from lemon water (allow excess water to drain off) and serve.
