I would love to have a tea party with my grandmothers. I hardly knew one of them before she passed away and my other grandmother lives on a different continent so I don’t get to see her very often. Tea with them would be perfect.

I’d have a tea party with my newly discovered niece. She’s kinda had it rough over her first year or so of life, so I’d wait until she’s a little older and then have a fabulous tea party for her, complete with crazy hats and cucumber sandwiches and lavender tea! My second choice would probably be…Chris Hemsworth, dressed as Thor – only because it would be absolutely hilarious to see him balance a dainty cup in his huge hand and throw a pinky.

Hello everyone! I love tea parties. What better way to celebrate friendship than to share a delicious cup of English Breakfast and a little sweet something? If I could wave a magic wand, I’d like to have two tea parties. The first would be with my 3 1/2 year-old daughter, my daughter’s best snuggle-friend Pink Bunny, and my cousin and her 6 month-old daughter and her favorite snuggle-friend. The second is with a group of three of my closest girlfriends who know how to laugh together and share from the heart–we all taught Middle School together and love letting loose and having fun!

Thanks for the invitation! xox k

If I could have anyone for tea, it would have to be my grandmother, who passed away while I was in middle school. It woudl be so much fun to get to know her as an adult. I often host tea parties for charity, so I am always on the lookout for new sources of inspiration. Thanks for sharing about Roses and Teacups!

Okay, I am going to cheat a little… and say I’d have a tea party with Bono. I have been a U2 fan since the early 90s, when I was still in elementary school, and I have gone through many things in my life with U2 as my soundtrack! Naturally, because of this, Bono has been a fixture in my life and I have grown to be very fond of him, his music, and his efforts around the world. I’m sure he’d have a few interesting things to share!

I would love to have a tea party with mom, sisters and daughter. My mom has gone through a lot of stressful and depressing things this past year, and the thing that brings her the most happiness is when I come to visit. My family loves when I bake little treats for them when I visit. I am a baking and pasty student, and one of the classes I took I learned how to make various tea cookies and petit fours. They are all so delicious and elegant looking. I’ve always wanted to have a nice tea party and make some but I don’t have the dishes for it… Yet :-) I already use many of the recipes from Glorious Treats (which are all amazing!), and I will definitely be looking into Roses and Teacups for some nice tea dishes. I have liked both pages as well.

Ahhh! I’m in heaven! I love tea parties and this type of fancy, elegant-ness. It makes me feel all pretty and proper. :) *So, I’m crossing my fingers here!!*

I would love to have a tea party with all the women in my family that I hold so dear to my heart (my mother, my grandmother, my sisters, my one-day-will-be-sister-in-law), as well as my best friend whom I unfortunately haven’t seen or spoken to very often ever since I moved out of the state we both resided in. :(

As for a celebrity? Well, I would just adore having a tea party with the romantic and handsome fictional character Mr. Darcy from Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice. (Specifically, British-born Matthew MacFadyen) :D

This is a wonderful opportunity to try some of the fabulous things Roses and Teacups has to offer! Just visited their site and would have a truly tough time choosing! They have so many delicious things from which to choose!

I’d love to have a tea “party” with my mom and daughter. When I was growing up, she and I would go for tea at all the fancy hotels. We continued the tradition each year when I would come home from college. As she was a single parent, every dollar really mattered. Getting to go for tea was always something extra special for us. I plan on continuing this tradition with my own daughter soon enough.

If I could have tea with anyone in the world? Oh what a question. A few years ago I worked with an amazing group of women who wanted to give back. We decided to host an event called Day of Sanctuary. The event was to focus on 10 females who have been fighting the battle with Breast Cancer and give them a day to stop thinking about their illness and to relax, have fun and know that they are truely beautiful inside and out. I led a team of 20 females and 2 males in a group called Wolf through my employer Best Buy. The team and I partnered with the Kem Foundation in Cleveland Ohio to make this event happen. My team at Best Buy had a goal to raise money to make this event happen. We had bake sales for employees, auctioned items, many other various ways to be able to raise money. The event was very successful and the 10 women loved everything. They had a day at a spa and then dinner with us. I became close to a few of the women and found out that some of them had passed in the last few years. I would love to be able to have a tea party with the survivors and with the Kem Foundation and my old team who helped put this first event together. We learned so much about how brave these women were, their fights, their fears and what made each one of them not give up.

Hi there, There are so many people I would like to have a tea party with..honestly, I’ve been dying to have a tea party but none of my friends who live close by are interested! The ones who would join me live in different parts of the country :( I was lucky enough to meet up with one of said friends in the fall and we went to our first High Tea! It was lovely!
But, back to the point, there is one individual I would really love to have a tea party with, that is my Great-Grandmother, who I named and my daughter after, an incredible woman who recently passed on. My great-grandmother was probably the most incredible woman I’ve known, though I wish I knew her more…she lived to the ripe age of 98years and she line-danced, sewed, baked, canned, and gardened like it was her job right into her nineties. I fondly remember the excitement of going to visit her at her house where it was always a guarantee we would sip tea and munch on home-made cookies followed by a great game of dice or dominoes. She always had tins and tins of all kinds of home-made cookies and bars in her cupboards…it was like a dream for my childhood self…even now it would be. Now, as an adult I only wish I had learned more from her that I had asked more questions and heard her life story …from her. I feel very connected to her because I share so many of her hobbies now, There is so much I would like to know and would like my daughter (her namesake) to know. A tea-party with my Nanny-Pam (as we called her) would be a dream!

I also like both pages on facebook

I live in a very poor section in my town. I would love to invite some disadvantaged little girls to their first tea party. When my granddaughter was ten, I had a tea party for her and ten of her friends. None had ever gone to a tea party! My friend read them tea etiquette manners and we showed them how to pour tea,eat scones with jam, mini sandwiches and petite desserts. A grand time was had by all

My tea party would be with my sisters and cousin Pati. I have so many wonderful associations with having tea – each night around 10pm, my oldest sister would set her hair in rollers in the kitchen and my other sister, mother and I would gather and have tea. We’d talk and laugh and sometimes dance to the radio. My mother just passed away in May and we all talked about the tea we would have nightly.

My cousin Pati is all things English – she would be the perfect guest and she and I sit with tea on the porch during her infrequent visits home.

Last, if I could have a teaparty with my grandmother – it would be heavenly. She made me my first cup of tea when I was a kid – with sugar and lemon. And once in a great while, my tea will taste just like hers did and it transports me back to her kitchen 50 years ago!
