I would use the mixer to whip up one of the beautiful creations on your blog. The problem is I don't know which I would do first. There are so many wonderful ideas!
I am already a fan of yours on Facebook. I discovered your blog via Pinterest a few months ago and have been following you since.
I still have my old mixer from when we were first married. I love it, though. I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, and I use that a lot, but I love a good hand mixer sometimes when I want to whip something up quickly with not a lot of clean-up. I don't know what I'd make first, but I do know that my six year old son (my very talented sous chef) would love to help me whip it up…especially if I got the red mixer…his favorite color.
I have a small business tryin to get off the ground. I sell cake pops and truffles decorated for any occasion. Part of the profits goes straight to the no kkid hungry campaign to help fight and end child's hunger. I would use a hand mixer to mix together cake batter and homemade icing! Yum!
With the red one I would mix up some awesome meringues! So fun and variable, there kind of my "go to" cookie!
With the silver, perhaps I'd have to whip up my gramma's famous coconut cake with fresh lemon curd!
Thanks for the opportunity and good luck to us all!
I would use to make cupcakes!!!

If you give a baker a mixer, she would probably make cookies. Then that baker would have to make icing to go with the cookies. But then, she would have to make a cake to use up the leftover icing. Then, since her kitchen is a mess and her oven is on, she would probably find something else to make.

My ancient mixer recently died as I was trying to make buttercream frosting for my daughter's birthday cake. To add insult to injury it was my third batch as the first 2 separated in the heat! I ended up bunging the cake in the fridge and running out to buy a cake, LOL.
So if I won a beautiful red Viking professional hand mixer the first thing I'd do is finally conquer that Toba Garrett buttercream and ice that damn cake.
