Kinda embarrassed to share this, but I use a $1 cheap steel hand whisk from Dollar Store for everything since I'm still quite new to baking (and cooking!), hehe…so I'd love this hand mixer! And in red color :D

I'm DYING to make sugar cookies, rolled chocolate cookies, and rolled chocolate chip cookies with royal icing. And cupcakes! Lots and lots of cupcakes!!

I still have my old mixer from when we were first married. I love it, though. I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, and I use that a lot, but I love a good hand mixer sometimes when I want to whip something up quickly with not a lot of clean-up. I don't know what I'd make first, but I do know that my six year old son (my very talented sous chef) would love to help me whip it up…especially if I got the red mixer…his favorite color.

If you give a baker a mixer, she would probably make cookies. Then that baker would have to make icing to go with the cookies. But then, she would have to make a cake to use up the leftover icing. Then, since her kitchen is a mess and her oven is on, she would probably find something else to make.

    Jot — January 29, 2012 at 12:58 am

My ancient mixer recently died as I was trying to make buttercream frosting for my daughter's birthday cake. To add insult to injury it was my third batch as the first 2 separated in the heat! I ended up bunging the cake in the fridge and running out to buy a cake, LOL.

So if I won a beautiful red Viking professional hand mixer the first thing I'd do is finally conquer that Toba Garrett buttercream and ice that damn cake. :)

Love this mixer, especially the red! I would use it for anything I can make with cream cheese and might even try making the Valentine's cookies you have posted with my kiddos! Liked you on FB, too!
    Thanks in advance…love your blog!

Well, I use my hand mixer to whip cream, and for other small jobs when I don't want to use my Kitchenaid. But it's been making weird noises recently, so a good replacement would be great!

I would use it to make frosting–which my boys would probably eat before I ever got it onto a cookie or cupcake! ;-)

I'd use the mixer for every recipe where I don't want to bother cleaning up the stand mixer! (Cupcakes, cakes, banana bread, you name it!)

    I'm already following on Facebook!

I'd use that fancy hand mixer to whip up love, sugar, chocolate, and eggs to make my honey honey some flaming chocolate strawberry sweet cuppin' cakes for Valentine's day. Then I'd use it for everything else forever.

    Already a fan on Facebook.

    Thanks for your darling blog.
